Absolutely. We are happy to consult with you in person or remotely to discuss the scope of your project, offer expert solutions and provide you with a free, no-obligation written estimate.
We encourage you to consult with your own designer if you wish to do so. We’re happy to work collaboratively with you and your design team to deliver a finished project that you’ll love.
That all depends on our current workload and the type/difficulty of the project. We try to get the wheels turning as soon as possible, as permitting and predesign work can take several weeks. Our project manager gives you a clearer idea of the current schedule during your consultation.
Permits requirements are discussed in case-by-case situations. A permit may be required if any changes to the framing, mechanical, plumbing, or electric. Permit codes vary by city, so check with your local building department or give us a call. Not every project requires a permit, for example doing cosmetic changes such as changing out your countertop would not require a permit. Our remodeling specialist can tell you if your project would require a permit.
Yes, we will manage the process from start to finish. These items will be included in the contract price of your project.
We accept checks, e-checks, cashier’s checks, and direct transfers. A payment plan will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of the project. If you need help with finance options, we can put you in touch with a financial specialist.
We work with all necessary trades for the project. They can include carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, painters, flooring experts, engineers, architects, and more. Whatever your project entails, you can rest assured that we put together the optimal team of experts to produce the best results.
While we do our best to carefully plan every step of the project, there are sometimes unexpected issues that cannot be known until we’ve begun. In the case of these issues, we’ll immediately communicate the problem as well as the proposed solution to you and make sure you understand completely what is happening in your home. No additional action will be taken until we obtain your informed consent.
Prior to beginning your project, we’ll provide you with a phone number and email address that can be used to reach us after hours. Additionally, Promodeling has a mobile app to facilitate direct communication between you and the project manager. The app also provides you with tools to track the progress of your project, view your payment schedule & invoices, and retrieve all documents related to the project.
You can start by getting a good idea for the type of look and style you want. If you don’t know yet, check out Pinterest, look at some magazines, and websites, or watch some home remodeling shows to get some design ideas. Then, contact us for a Free Consultation. We’ll walk you through the process. Before construction begins, you’ll want to clear out the area being worked on of all your personal belongings that can be removed. Although we cover the areas surrounding our work area, you’ll want to protect your furniture from dust with plastic and/or sheets.
A remodel is a tremendous undertaking and will result in a living situation temporarily dominated by dust, noise, and disruption. While our team does its best to minimize the disruption to your daily life, there are certain situations in which you may decide to temporarily relocate until the project is completed, especially if there are unavoidable and unforeseen delays in the process.

Other things to consider are the seemingly minute decisions you’ll have to make along the way. Where should this outlet go? How high should your showerhead be mounted? The decisions will be many, but the finished project will be your gold at the end of the rainbow.
We pride ourselves on our work, doing nearly every trade in-house with the exception of some custom work, like custom cabinetry that requires thousands of square feet of dedicated shop space. We have strategically partnered with and vetted dozens of local subcontractors that are truly artists in their chosen fields to help bring our client’s transformations to life.

Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

Kitchen remodeling is simply the process of improving the appearance and functionality of a kitchen. A lot of kitchens become outdated, meaning they need to be remodeled into more modern spaces to improve the look and function of the kitchen.

Kitchen remodels typically take anywhere from 3-8 weeks to complete depending on the scope of work. A simple paint and countertop renovation will be much shorter than one where we move the walls between the kitchen and dining and reconfigure the layout.
The total cost of your kitchen remodel is going to be determined by a number of factors, including its size, the quality of materials you choose, and the scope of the work required. Please reach out to us and tell us more about your kitchen remodeling project and we will provide you with a free estimate. If you are planning a home improvement project, you may not know where to start. While freshening up the paint in the bedrooms or changing out the light fixtures in the bathroom are simple jobs that add excellent cosmetic value, upgrading the kitchen is the best way to give your home a real improvement. Investing in a kitchen remodel is a great way to raise your home’s resale value and improve your quality of life.

Generally, you don’t have to move out. However, eating takeout food for days can become tiresome, so if you can afford it or if you have family or friends who will let you stay with them, it can be a benefit to have a quiet place with a functioning kitchen to use while yours is being built. We strategically put up dust, floor, and wall protections to partition off the renovation from the remainder of your home. There may be short periods when we’ll shut the water off while modifying plumbing. Or your power might be off while we run new circuits for your kitchen. But at the end of every day, the remainder of your home will function normally.

Bathroom Remodeling FAQ

The duration of a bathroom remodel can range from 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the scope of the project. Larger remodeling can take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks, but you should expect the majority of projects to take at least 1 month.

A bathroom layout design will be constrained by the size of the space and should ultimately place function over form in order of priorities. How a bathroom lays out will revolve around the toilet, the maximization of space, and the functionality of all elements. Other factors to consider include: the number of regular users, regulations, and standards, adequate lighting, efficient ventilation, and the incorporation of storage.
Choosing the right types of necessary elements is the best way to go about designing a small bathroom. These small-space-friendly kinds include: a corner or trough sink to maximize the floor area, a shower-tub combo or walk-in shower, and an expansive mirror to make the bathroom appear larger. Wall mounting a vanity, sink, etc. can open up the bathroom to include more shelving for storage purposes.
People are becoming tired of ignoring their old, cluttered bathrooms and are instead remodeling them to be more functional and comfortable. Similar to other rooms in your home, bathroom design will change over time. It used to be trendy to have green and yellow sinks and toilets, but now those colors are considered quite outdated. Modernizing your bathroom is a wonderful reason to remodel it. It could be as simple as repainting the walls and upgrading the fixtures, or it could involve a total demolition and complete remodel.

A Jack and Jill bathroom layout refers to a bathroom placed between two bedrooms. It can be entered in through both doors of either bedroom usually with locks on both the inside and outside to ensure privacy when in use. It has one bath/shower and toilet to be shared and can have more than one sink in accordance with the implied two users.
Start by choosing features that maximize the layout and floor plan. You should then prioritize selecting water-saving fixtures, storage options, and other elements that will create a spacious, comfortable, and inviting ambiance when remodeling your bathroom.
